CATIA is a powerhouse with a ridiculous number of applications in aerospace and automotive. You have spent time learning parametric modeling. So take anything I say on this topic with a grain of salt. However, i have dabbled with solidworks, inventor, and fusion, among others. I deal with AutoCAD, civil 3d and infraworks as a civil.

COSTĬATIA is most Expensive software among three of them and cannot used by any small scale industry whereas the CREO is used in place of CATIA as it costs you litter lesser than CATIA but Solid works is far used in Small And large scale industries as it is cheaper,Simple and user friendly.But some Industries Now don’t use the Solid works as it is used as for making simple models. On the other hand Solid works is used by every small scale industry and some large scale industry as well where CATIA is not there.The Solidworks is used in automotive industries where thereis manufaturing of Mechanical parts.The software is very user friendly and simpler one among the three.
